Gentleman | Skip to Number One in the album charts!
"Diversity" - the latest album by Gentleman has made the direct entry of the album charts at number one! After more than 1 million sold copies, 10 years of live dates going around the globe, platinum and gold Grafted masterpiece albums, the success story of Gentleman, Germany's most famous reggae artist in the next round and then the artist is pleased even still has the highest single -chart debut of his entire career, as his current single "It No Pretty" reached number 19 of the singles charts. Gentleman sat with his first single "It No Pretty" and a moving video clip is clearly bucking the steady increase of violence. In such a poignant and gritty images that a large TV station chose the song and the clip for a spontaneous anti-violence campaign. Yes, this clip disturbing and distracts from the real beauty of the song. It can be images that shock us through the daily news again and again and stand there stunned us. But the gentleman artist a concern, not just pretty pictures to a major title was to be shown.
The title of number one album "diversity" is also pretty much exactly reflect what one expects on Gentleman's fifth studio album. "Diversity" is a dazzling game of deception with the possibilities of reggae, which in this form of wealth does not have much in common with the still prevailing stereotypes of the Sunshine reggae. On his previous work principle, which is unique in this form spanning continents, has essentially not changed. Basis of all the songs are still the riddims, the gentleman in part in his own studio produced Soul Food, the other in hours of listening sessions in Jamaican studios selects and adapts with its unerring instinct for gallant and great melodies. "Diversity" is fun for all and all the joy that mediate the songs, characterized by a great photographer Olaf Heine Ernsthaftigkeit.Das of Star for the album's cover shot portrait of gentleman which illustrates very well. Made up of autumn colored trees, symbolized in the double exposure portrait iconically designed the large branch, the deep roots of art in the conversion process. Gentleman is to change, progress and diversity. Diversity rules! This he shows with his selection of Featuring artists for "diversity": uaJack Radics, Cassandra Steen, Patrice, and Tanya Stephens and Luciano Sugar Minott of Jamaica as well as shooting star Christopher Martin. And being the gentleman himself is heard on the new single by Stefanie Heinzmann, "Roots to Grow" is on 28 Published in May.
Starting next week, go Gentleman & the Evolution, is familiar with many musicians, his newly formed band behind by big tour to Europe. In the summer, then gentleman in our latitudes, headlining major reggae festivals.
